Theodore J. Walker, MSN, RN, CNOR, CNS-C,P is a retired, USAF, NC Colonel at 26 years who retired in his home of Anchorage, Alaska. Ted is currently employed by Providence Alaska Medical Center as a Clinical Nurse Specialist - Advanced. He is an APRN in Alaska as an Adult Health CNS. He served for six years as a member of the board of directors for Competency Credentialing Institute. During his career, Ted was chief of patient safety for the USAF Medical Service. He continues to be extremely involved in patient safety in ambulatory surgery centers, medical centers, ORs, infection prevention and implementation of multiple patient safety reporting systems.
