Provide a background on the Perioperative Surgical Home (PSH) and describe the processes undertaken by three network hospitals to implement a colorectal surgery PSH. The content will include the challenges faced in addressing differences among network hospitals while still focusing on the improvement of colorectal patient care. Finally, patient outcomes achieved as a result of the implementation of the PSH will be provided.

• Identify the components of the Perioperative Surgical Home (PSH).
• Explain the methods used to implement a PSH for colorectal surgery within three network hospitals.
• Analyze the outcomes colorectal surgical patients included in a PSH program.
