Steps of conducting an evidence-based practice project will be outlined. The results of utilizing aromatherapy as a first-line treatment option for GYN patients undergoing general anesthesia will be shared.

• Critically analyze and appraise the results of the studies and determine how apply to current practice.
• Describe how results suggested some patients reported aromatherapy was helpful in preventing postoperative nausea and vomiting.
