An overview of the need to expand the number of ORs and creating a universal OR suite for the future will be shared, as will the role of an OR nurse in making this happen. The additional design opportunities that can be incorporated by reviewing the nursing literature, hearing from nursing colleagues, and believing change for the better is a good thing.
