Kennesaw State University established a faculty team from various disciplinary and High Impact Practice (HIP) backgrounds to advance HIP. KSU has successfully introduced first year seminars, diversity and global learning experiences, and offers opportunities to get involved in more than 300 campus organizations. HIP success is appreciably connected to the important contributions of innovative AP programs. As universities nationwide embrace HIPS, more attention is focused on how secondary school experiences can orient and inspire students as they transition to postsecondary opportunities that support continued academic momentum and interest in co and cross curricular activities. The panel and participants will engage in an exciting discussion about opportunities for faculty and teacher PD that foster innovative AP student learning opportunities.
