Equity and Access
AP Annual Conference Submission
In 2018, the largest growth in CLEP volume was amongst high school students. Educational professionals from Denver Public Schools, Orange County Public Schools (FL) and Aldine Independent School District (TX) will provide specific examples of effective practices their school districts have in place that incorporate College Board’s College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) as an additional opportunity for students to earn college credit. Through this session, schools will become familiar with the positive results, proven methods of identifying test takers, convenient test administration tips and free practice and preparation resources. Schools will discuss the data which is relevant for understanding how a school district’s commitment can improve access to post-secondary education.
