Are you constantly looking for ways to engage with your peers to enhance your instruction and respond to changing student needs? Come learn how AP mentoring is an evidence-based program for teachers of AP Computer Science Principles, AP English Literature and Composition, and AP U.S. History, designed to help cultivate connections and foster teacher growth. In this session, participants will actively engage in self-reflection and examining student work, a key component of the AP mentoring model. An AP teacher will demonstrate how this is extended through a mentoring model that intentionally builds to empower teachers to problem solve, reflect, and collaborate with peers, to bring fresh new ideas to their own classrooms as a means to increase student success. You will also have an opportunity to hear about current experiences and learnings during a Q&A.
