Pre-AP for Administrators
AP Annual Conference Submission
Last fall College Board launched a new Pre-AP Program. Pre-AP offers instructional frameworks and resources, student practice, professional learning, and formative assessments in motivating and engaging courses that give all students the chance to become AP and college ready. This session will explore the driving forces behind the development of this program, the instructional shifts addressed in each discipline, and the core components of the new Pre-AP Program. Hear from members of our Pre-AP Partner Schools to understand the process these schools took to successfully prepare for and implement the new Pre-AP Program, how professional learning prepared and supported teacher collaboration within and across disciplines, and how Pre-AP courses help build, strengthen, and reinforce students content knowledge and skills. Join us to learn what it means to be an official College Board Pre-AP school and hear from members of our partner schools. Session will include presentation and Q&A.
