In this session participants will examine a model unit on animals and learn how to overlap several themes. For example, after being exposed to the “Giraffe teether” participants will discover how to use that content to make connections between the six required themes of the AP French Language and Culture course. The session will also provide examples of sample assessments that occur throughout the unit. By learning about different assessment methods participants will acquire the knowledge needed to scaffolded strategies and incorporate activities that develop students’ literacy and communication skills.
