AP Annual Conference Submission
The Chief Reader and Chief Reader Designate discuss the AP Calculus Reading and the overall student performance on the 2019 AP Calculus Exams (AB and BC). Participants obtain valuable insight into common misconceptions and errors as revealed by student responses. This knowledge helps participants identify strategies that enable them to better prepare their students to take the exams in subsequent years. New and experienced AP Calculus educators, as well as teachers and administrators interested in starting an AP Calculus course, obtain a better understanding of the Reading and of the exams and grading by participating in this session. Participants can ask questions and voice any concerns they may have about the course and exam.
