Participants will examine the results of the 2019 AP World History exam to identify content and skills that posed particular challenges for students. Emphasis will be placed on identifying common gaps and deficiencies that students revealed in their responses to exam questions on the 2019 exam. The Chief Reader will lead a discussion to help teachers prepare instructional and conceptual strategies to address challenging areas of the course based on this exam performance data. Through examination of the outcomes of the exam, participants will also learn strategies for preparing their students for the multiple choice and constructed response questions (to include the DBQ, LEQ and SAQ).
