AP Annual Conference Submission
Participants meet with the AP Art History Chief Reader and receive information about student performance on the 2019 AP Art History Exam. The session focuses on understanding the nature of the exam, scoring, and the relationship of the exam to the course and exam description. Participants will review each of the free response questions from the exam, see data on performance and discuss how well student responses addressed the course content and skills related to each question. This session is intended to cultivate a deeper understanding of the assessment process and to help teachers develop aligned teaching and evaluation that supports students’ understanding of art historical concepts and practices. The session concludes with a Q&A session and discussion period.
