This session focuses on student performance on the nine free response questions from the 2019 AP Music Theory Exam. Participants review the basic format, content, and scoring guidelines of the exam, and survey general data comparing the performance of this year's AP Exam takers with those from prior years. Participants develop practical teaching strategies for addressing common problems and helping students to improve their performance on the exam.
