One learning method that works well with students is kinesthetic learning, in which the students are involved in some type of physical and hands on activity. Many topics in AP Computer Science A can be introduced using kinesthetic activities. At this session I will share many of the activities that I have used in my AP Computer Science A classes and my AP Computer Science A Summer Institutes over the years that have proven to not only be successful, but are activities that both students and teachers appreciate. This will be a hands-on session.
