Critical thinking and creativity are two of the most marketable skills in the 21st century. Giving students an opportunity to link these two skills and approach content in innovative and interactive ways sets them up for a successful future. In this session participants will experience lessons utilizing arts integration strategies including Visual Thinking Strategies, Portrait Studies, Six Word Stories, Tableau, and Thought Tracking. They will then collaborate with colleagues to apply these strategies to their own content area and create lessons utilizing these strategies and the formative information they provide to teachers and students.
