Looking for strategies or methods that grab students’ attention and interest when teaching Game Theory? In this session, participants will explore materials to help students determine the Nash equilibrium and dominant strategies when presented with problems on game theory. During this session, attendees will view and participate in cooperative learning strategies. First, attendees will participate in a simulation that helps enhance student knowledge of Oligopolies and Game Theory concepts. Next, discussion of anticipated student misunderstandings will occur between participants. Finally, resources will be distributed that will include problem sets for class use and questions from AP Central’s previous exams. Participants will exit the session with knowledge of how to engage students in the concept of Game Theory.
