Teaching AP U.S History is difficult enough, some students are forced into the course, some students do not want to be there, and some students just get plain bored. Making AP U.S History Not Just a Lecture presentation will show other AP U.S History teachers how to take the course and turn it into a course with some lecture, but with engaging activities and lessons, that will catch students interests, hobbies and give students a chance to shine with a wide variety of projects. Teachers will come away from this session with new ideas on how to implement the vast curriculum that must be covered, but with tools and projects that not only are fun for students, but also covers the curriculum at an advanced level. For example, greeting cards to King George III will be presented to teachers, on the whom, why and how of the project.
