AP Annual Conference Submission
This session will allow participants to explore strategies that a High School used to successfully raise AP Calculus AB and BC scores to the global average within four years of the start of the program. Real struggles will be discussed and participants will have the opportunity to collaborate along the journey. We will focus on proven strategies with examples and artifacts of these strategies including journals, anchor charts, horizontal alignment, vertical alignment, etc. Participants will have the opportunity to share what these strategies look like for them and what success and struggles they’ve experienced to allow for deeper collaboration. We will also walk through the process of identifying vertical key ideas and discuss implementing them at the campus level. This will include brainstorming what the key idea looks like in each content area from Algebra 1 to Calculus.
