This presentation will share goal-setting, recruitment, and support strategies that a successful high school district has implemented to ensure success and equity within their AP program. Participants will examine how this district, nationally recognized for closing AP access gaps, has leveraged the right goals and a culture of belonging to support the success of traditionally underrepresented students. Recruitment strategies include evaluating data, student outreach, and support structures. Participants will leave the session with an outline of three strategies they can implement in their own system.
