Infection Prevention Coordinator
Dr. Tanushree Soni is an Infection Prevention Coordinator at the Emory Healthcare. She has lived and worked in Asia and North America and has a wealth of experience and expertise in Infectious Diseases in the US, India and South East Asia.
She is involved in the surveillance and reporting of clinically important infections, policy decisions and construction projects. She has developed and executed multiple educational and training modules to effectively implement the infection control practices. In addition she serves as the subject matter expert in microbiology for the infection prevention program and the co-lead along with the Emory University Hospital epidemiologist for the Clostridium difficle Healthcare Associated Condition-Quality accelerated Team (HAC-QAT).
Dr. Soni has a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the Rollins School at Emory University and a PhD in Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry from Georgia State University and has post doctoral experience at Emory University.
