Corrianne Billings, BS, BSN, RN, CIC is the Manager of Infection Prevention, Surveillance and Inpatient Reporting with Mission Health System, in Asheville, NC. Corrianne considers herself to be in the proficient stage of the APIC Competency Model and aspires to be an APIC Fellow. Prior to working in Infection Prevention, she was a bedside nurse working with patients with stroke, brain injury, and other neurological issues. Corrianne is a zone coordinator in her local APIC chapter and is the current chair of the APIC Task Force for the Revision of the Competency Model. While she enjoys all aspects of Infection Prevention, her specific interests include surveillance, data management, informatics, and policy.
Corrianne Billings received her Bachelor of Science degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of North Carolina Asheville and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Western Carolina University.
