Landscape architects often have the intention to implement meaningful community engagement, but lack the tools and resources to implement outreach inclusively and efficiently. This panel aims to identify the gaps in traditional engagement processes and present nontraditional technologies to geospatially visualize public input, direct outreach efforts, and create inclusive dialogues.

Learning Objectives:

• Identify technology and data analysis tools for inclusive community engagement.
• Explore effective ways to geospatially visualize stakeholder inputs gathered through public meetings, mail or e-mail correspondence, social media, and forums.
• Direct outreach efforts that better allocate and coordinate public involvement staff and resources in a timely, cost-effective fashion.
• Create inclusive and engaging dialogues and forums for practitioners, advocates, and users to share their insights, ideas, shared problems, and goals.
