Reimagining El-Space spotlights the emerging interdisciplinary field of planning, designing, and activating the vast resource of space beneath and adjacent to elevated transportation infrastructure in cities across the continent. The session will demonstrate the potency in advancing new forms of landscape urbanism, site design, spatial activation, and community engagement.

• Reconsider aging transportation infrastructure as an opportunity for multiuse, high-performance landscape architecture and urban design.
