As landscape architects seek to create landscapes that foster equity and inclusion in the public realm, we rarely define our terms. This session brings together a parks commissioner, a historian, and a designer to explore how we think about equity and inclusion in the context of diversity and democracy.

• Understand how landscape architects seek to steward equity and inclusion in their public practice.
• Learn the significance of thoughtfully defining terms such as equity and inclusion in the context of diversity and democracy as core values.
