This course will explore how physician, and allied care professionals, can use clinical care pathways to manage the prevalent condition of overactive bladder. We will explore ways that the current treatment of overactive bladder can be suboptimal, and how the newly developed SUFU Overactive Bladder Clinical Care Pathway can improve outcomes, enhance adherence and increase patient satisfaction. We will review the steps of the SUFU Clinical Care Pathway and the other modules available, exploring how each tool can enhance delivery of conservative (first line) therapies, assist patients in optimizing drug (second line) therapy, and advance appropriate patients to advance (third line) therapies. The course will finish with very practical clinical case presentations that will illustrate the use of the SUFU OAB Clinical Care Pathway in variety of patient types and clinical settings.
