Dr. Denmeade is Professor of Oncology, Urology and Pharmacology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is Director of the Genitourinary Oncology Program. He received his undergraduate and medical degree from Columbia University, completed residency at the University of Chicago and Oncology Fellowship at Johns Hopkins. His laboratory research is focused on development of new targeted therapies for prostate cancer. He holds 20 issued US patents. His clinical research is focused on studying high dose testosterone as therapy for castrate resistant prostate cancer.
