Lori Guelman, RN, MSN, FNP – BC joined the Stanford Urology clinic in 2007. Lori has presented at numerous local and international conferences on topics ranging from Overactive bladder, Dysuria and SNM troubleshooting to pain management and the role of the NP. She is currently finishing up research on simple UTIs and prescribing practices. She is also very active in the Stanford Advanced Practice Provider (APP) community and is currently the Chair and faculty on an annual controlled substances CE/CME all day program as well as chair of the APP quarterly newsletter. She is also involved with the Stanford mentorship program and has recently joined Advancing Communication Excellence at Stanford (ACES) as a trainer to help educate clinicians on relationship-centered communication. Lori is the past President of the Golden Gate Chapter/San Francisco chapter for the California Association of Nurse Practitioners in which she completed two terms.
