This post graduate course is designed for practicing Urologistst who perform ureteroscopic procedures and wish an update on advanced applications and instrumentation. The faculty will present innovative endoscopic treatments for urolithiasis, upper uroinary tract urothelial carcinoma, as well as intra-renal and ureteral stricture disease.
The course begins with a historical perspective and current ureteroscopic access techniques presented by Demetrius Bagley. Olivier Traxier will then present a comprehensive review of current and new ureteroscopic instrumentation, as well as various endoscopic lithotripsy techniques and outcomes. Diagnostic ureteroscopy including a review of benign and malignant lesions will be present by Michael Grasso, who will also review in detail endoscopic management of upper urinary tract urothlial carcinoma including outcomes and adjuvent therapiies. Finally, Scott Hubosky will present ureteraosocpic management of obstructing lesions of the upper urinary tract, as well management of ureteroscopic complications.
By taking this course the audience will have a more comnprehensive understanding of current and future ureteroscopic therapies, and will be updated on newest instrumentation and surgical technique.
