Jason P. Gilleran, M.D. is currently Associate Professor of Urology at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. He graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1998. He completed his residency in Urology at the University of Illinois-Chicago in 2004, and a fellowship in Female Urology at University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas in 2005. His career started in the Department of Urology at The Ohio State University in Columbus. He joined the staff at William Beaumont Hospital in 2010. Dr. Gilleran’s clinical and research interests focus on neuromodulation, interstitial cystitis / chronic pelvic pain, complex urinary incontinence, as well as daVinci® robotic surgery for pelvic floor reconstruction. He has authored or co-authored more than 20 peer reviewed original research articles, as well as numerous textbook chapters, and review articles. In 2018, he was co-editor on the textbook “Adult and Pediatric Neuromodulation”. He is active in teaching as part of the accredited Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS) Fellowship at Beaumont Hospital.
