Dr. Jens Urs Berli is an assistant professor and associate residency program director in the division of plastic surgery at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) in Portland Oregon, specializing in various aspects of gender surgery. His main interest is focused on total phallic reconstruction for patients suffering from gender dysphoria. He received his training in Switzerland and at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. At Johns Hopkins he also spent time with the reconstructive urology team and sought further exposure to masculinizing genital surgery at various leading centers around the world.
He is a member of the World Professional Association of Transgender Health (WPATH) and is on the surgical committee for the upcoming revision of the international Standards of Care.
