Dr. Tadashi Matsuda graduated from Kyoto University School of Medicine in 1978, and is Professor and Chairman of the Department of Urology and Andrology, Kansai Medical University, Japan since 1995. He is currently Vice Dean of the university, and Vice Director of Kansai Medical University Hospital. He was also the Director of Medical Education Committee of Kansai Medical University for 4 years during his professorship.
Dr. Matsuda has contributed to the field of endourology and urologic laparoscopy. He served as the President of the Japanese Society of Endourology from 2010 to 2012, and the President of the Endourological Society in 2015-2016. He was the Congress President of 29th World Congress of Endourology and SWL held in 2011 at Kyoto, Japan. He is the Secretary General of East Asian Society of Endourology since 2016. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Japan Society of Endoscopic Surgery (JSES) and was the Chair of the Endoscopic Surgical Skill Qualification System Committee of JSES from 2010 to 2016. He was the President of the 28th Annual Congress of JSES in 2015. He is an International Member of the American Urological Association and the American Association of Genitourinary Surgeons.
