University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health
My name is Tyler Etheridge and I am a fourth year medical student at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. I am currently working as a researcher in the Jarrard lab with the Department of Urology where we are examining epigenetic markers, long noncoding RNAs, and histologic alterations in normal tissue associated with prostate cancer. Additionally, we are examining the synergistic use of androgen deprivation therapy and commonly prescribed medications in delaying the progression to castration resistant disease. Finally, we are examining cellular senescence as a unique phenotype in response to androgen deprivation therapy.
