Born in 22 December 1979. Married, two children. M.D. in 2006 (University of Turku, Finland) , Ph.D. in 2015 (University of Turku), specialist in urology in 2016 (University of Turku), Fellow of the European Board of Urology in 2016. Chairman of clinical quality of urological care -consortium.
Currently working as clinical teacher of urology in University of Turku, Department of Clinical Medicine, and practicing urologist in Turku University Hospital, Department of Urology, Finland. Previous appointments: Urologist-in-training at the Turku University Hospital, Department of Urology in 2013-2016 and at the Satakunta Central Hospital, Pori, Finland in 2009-2012.
Clinical work focuses in treatment of prostate cancer. Main interests in research are prostate cancer imaging, sexual health and quality of life in prostate cancer patients. Admistrative work aims at developing national quality measures for urological care and establishing a web based system to collect the quality data (National Institute of Health and Welfare, Finland).
