Nicholas Grubic graduated from Queen’s University with Bachelor of Honours Sciences (Life Sciences) and Certificate in Business in 2019. He is currently pursuing graduate studies in Epidemiology. He is a trainee researcher within the Cardiovascular Imaging Network at Queen’s and Queen’s Cardiopulmonary Unit. His research interests include cardiovascular pre-participation screening, out-of-hospital cardiac arrest epidemiology, echocardiography, and shared decision-making. He serves as a trainee member of the Community and Athletic Cardiovascular Health Network (CAtCHnet). His work is funded by CIHR and SEAMO. Complimenting his research interests in the cardiovascular screening of athletes, Nicholas has been a 4-year varsity lightweight rower for the Queen’s University Men’s Rowing Team and has competed under Team Ontario Rowing at the 2017 Canada Summer Games. He is currently a member of the Queen’s University Triathlon Team.
