Dr Potter is an associate clinical professor of medicine in the Montreal University medical school. He is an interventional cardiologist at the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM) specializing in acute cardiac care and high-risk procedures. He also has an interest for the intersection of interventional cardiology and heart failure. Also a clinical and health services researcher at the Centre de recherche du CHUM (CRCHUM), his major research interest in health economics, particularly for STEMI care systems, TAVR, and hemodynamic support devices for cardiogenic shock and cardiac arrest. He also has an active clinical research program in antithrombotic therapy in the setting of acute coronary syndromes (ACS).
