Dr. Lindsay is currently the Director of Systems Change and Stroke at the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canada, She leads strategic directions for systems change with respect to heart conditions, stroke and vascular cognitive impairment; clinical guidelines and quality monitoring for stroke care delivery; and promoting evidence informed systems change across the care continuum. She is a respected expert member of the World Stroke Organization Board of Directors and executive committee, and the International Alliance for Paediatric Stroke Board of Directors. Dr. Lindsay is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee medal for her efforts to improve stroke care and outcomes in Canada and internationally. Dr. Lindsay has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Western Ontario and completed her PhD in Health Services Research, Evaluation and Outcomes at the University of Toronto.
