In this spotlight session presented by CNCT we will highlight the importance of modern advanced imaging in the diagnosis and management of heart failure patients. We will discuss three important imaging modalities: nuclear cardiology with bone tracers in cardiac amyloid; cardiac PET in heart failure to determine risks and consider how cardiac CT data can be used within our heart failure population. To summarize the influence and importance of these techniques in heart failure with preserved and reduced ejection fraction we will end the didactic portion of the session by hearing from an international expert in heart failure. Following this we will have a 20 minute panel session to discuss points that arise from the audience in response to the presentations.
