The "Controversies in Cardiac Interventions" has been the CAIC's Annual Spotlight Session at CCC.
Each year, CAIC members are invited to submit interesting cases involving percutaneous interventions (either coronary or structural) which are educational in terms of challenging anatomy, difficult diagnosis or controversial decision-making.
The session will be built around 3 case presentations.

 

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:

• evaluate and critique controversial techniques and decision-making during cardiac interventions;
• challenge conventional thinking and approaches during cardiac interventions; and
• identify controversies in the utilization of adjunctive therapies during cardiac interventions.
