The workshop "A session for ECG lovers: Clues and tips for the clinician” will include 4 case based presentations and provide participants with a practical approach to the appropriate ECG interpretation of the following arrhythmias and ECG abnormalities: Diagnosis and management of Wenckebach phenomenon, interpretation and differential diagnosis of supraventricular tachycardias, identification and management of ECG abnormalities associated with Lyme Carditis, and proper identification and management of WPW ECG patters (ventricular pre-excitation). This workshop will fulfill the learning needs of those seeking a practical approach to difficult and not so common ECG tracings.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:

• to recognize supraventricular tachycardias, WPW ECG pattern and Wenckebach phenomenon;
• identify the most common ECG presentations of Lyme carditis; and
• to determine when Wenckebach phenomenon requires treatment, when WPW ECG pattern requires invasive management and when Lyme carditis requires pacing.
