Assistant Consulting Professor of Psychiatry
Durham VA OIF/OEF/OND Program, Duke University
Dr. Justin Johnson currently treats outpatients in the Durham VA Medical Center's OEF/OIF Combat Veteran Program, focusing on veterans from the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, and the greater Global War on Terror. In addition, Dr. Johnson is a Major in the US Army Reserve, where he serves as the Command Psychiatrist for the US Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations (Airborne) Command. He has mobilized within the continental US and has deployed to the Middle East in support of the US Army. Dr. Johnson is an Assistant Consulting Professor of Psychiatry at Duke University School of Medicine. Prior to the VA and Army, Dr. Johnson completed psychiatry training at the Massachusetts General Hospital, where he served as CL Chief Resident, and completed a CL fellowship at UNC Hospitals.
