CVWD Drinking Water Consolidation Projects with Disadvantaged Communities

Provide engineers and staff with information on drinking water consolidation projects involving disadvantaged communities. Share the process of applying for grant funding with the State Water Board and working through approvals from environmental to funding. In addition, discuss challenges with consolidation projects as well as the lessons learned and successes.

Learner Outcomes:

• Increase knowledge about CVWD's disadvantaged communities infrastructure task force and current drinking water consolidation projects.
• Understand the general process of applying for grant funding with the State Water Board for drinking water consolidation projects.
• Increase knowledge about challenges and lessons learned associated with drinking water consolidation projects.
