Mariana is a Principal Engineer for the Capital Improvement Program at the San Jose-Santa Clara Regional Wastewater Facility. She is a Civil Engineer from the National University of Mexico and received her Master degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Toronto. She has over 17 years of experience in the planning and design of wastewater facilities, both in the private and public sector. She is a licensed engineer in the Province of Ontario, NY and CA. For the last six years, she has worked for the Ciry of San Jose, as she is currently in charge of all solids-related projects for the City's $1.4 billion capital improvements program.
