Part 1 (Emergenetics®) 8:30 – 10am (1.5 hrs)
Break 10 – 10:15 (coffee/tea provided)
Part 1 (Emergenetics®) 10:15 – 12:15 (2 hrs)
Buffet Lunch 12:15 – 1:00 (buffet located in California Ballroom foyer; dining in workshop room)
Part 2 (Socio-Biology of Teams) 1:00 – 3:30pm (2.5 hrs)

Emergenetics®:

Emergenetics® is a measurable, proven way to recognize and apply thinking and behavior patterns people use regularly. They were identified by reviewing research from a wide body of academic literature covering personality, psychology and neuroscience. These results were then subjected to rigorous statistical analysis.

On a practical level, the Emergenetics Profile represents a clear framework of seven easily recognizable and useful factors that apply to work, communication and interpersonal relationships. These include:

• Thinking & Communicating modalities – analytical, structural, conceptual and social


• Three aspects of behavior – expressiveness, assertiveness and flexibility

Emergenetics from a Personal Perspective
Because the Emergenetics Profile yields practical results that can be easily applied within any context, the seven Emergenetics principles can be used on an individual level to gain understanding of oneself in all facets of life, including work, home, community, education and family.

Emergenetics from an Organizational Perspective
The Emergenetics thinking and behavioral factors can be used as a framework to maximize human performance.

*Participants will be required to complete an online assessment in advance of the workshop in order to receive their personal Emergenetics profile at the workshop.

Learner Outcomes:

• Describe the Emergenetics metaphor and their own unique preferences, as revealed in their individual profiles.
• Develop guidelines for more effective and impactful communication and presentations.
• Determine how they can best contribute to their team.
