Practical Implementation of the 2016 TNI Standard

Session 8:30 – 10am (1.5 hrs)
Break 10 – 10:15 (coffee/tea provided)
Session 10:15 – 11:45 (1.5 hrs)
Buffet Lunch 11:45 – 12:30 (buffet located in California Ballroom foyer; dining in workshop room)
Session 12:30 – 3:30pm (3 hrs)

For laboratories large and small, streamlined approaches to implementing the 2016 TNI Standard are essential for an effective quality system. This workshop will provide tools and strategies for addressing some of the most common requirements of the Standard. Attendees will need to bring their own copy of the 2016 TNI Standard.

Learner Outcomes:

• After participating in this session, participants will have a better overall understanding of the 2016 TNI Standard and clarification regarding some common misconceptions about implementation.
• After participating in this session, participants will have tools and techniques for implementing the 2016 TNI Standard to improve their Quality Systems based on individual laboratory needs.
• After participating in this session, participants will be able to utilize elements of the Standard, such as Corrective and Preventative Actions, Audits, and Demonstrations of Capability, to strengthen data integrity.
