This session will focus on regulatory changes which will impact biosolids management, renewable energy production, and climate change mitigation.

Learner Outcomes:

Understand how regulations will impact the wastewater sector with respect to co-digestion of diverted organic waste.
Understand what is being done to maximize the options for use of biogas produced from anaerobic digestion and co-digestion
Understand opportunities and challenges for the receipt of diversted organic waste for co-digestion and public - private partnerships with the private solid waste sector
