Come learn from the research done by the 2018 Energy Impact Fellows at Stanford University on maximizing biogas to Renewable Natural Gas conversion in order to create a more sustainable planet: What effect do the biogas emissions from Wastewater Treatment Plants, landfills, and dairy farms have on our Carbon footprints? How can we use co-digestion to maximize our biogas conversion while also meeting waste diversion goals set by the California government? And what recommendations need to be implemented in order to best maximize economic profits and devote better care to our environment?

Learner Outcomes:

• Upon completion, participants will be able to apply their knowledge of co-digestion into how to best innovate their Wastewater Treatment Plants to maximize biogas production.
• Upon completion, participants will have gained a newfound knowledge on the current state of Renewable Natural Gas within the United States, with a special emphasis on California, and how Wastewater Treatment Plants fill into this picture.
• Upon completion, participants will have a foundation for how the industry regarding renewable natural gas, including the parties of Wastewater Treatment Plants, Dairy Farms, and landfills, can maximize their sustainable efforts to decrease their environmental footprint.
