The correct calibration of an analytical instrument is the fundamental building block to ensure the analytical results are of known and documented quality. The TNI standard Module 4 contains requirements for both initial calibration and continuing calibration verification.

List the reasons for when a calibration point can be removed from a curve.
Describe the differences between the initial and continuing calibration.
Conduct a relative error test to evaluate the calibration.
