The solids field is facing many changes and challenges - a need to leverage existing infrastructure to do more; lower operating costs; deal with uncertainty for biosolids end uses. This advanced biosolids tour will start with a short discussion about these issues and then continue with a tour through the exhibit hall to visit three manufacturers with products that may help agencies find solutions. The intent of this tour is to provide participants with a focused introduction to specific technologies that may advance the solids field. The manufacturers themselves will present their systems for 15 mins and then participants will be guided to the next exhibit by track facilitators. Participants should be able to use this information as part of planning strategies to deal with the changing solids field.
