The Arc
Marty Ford, Senior Executive Officer, Public Policy, has over 30 years of experience in federal public policy issues affecting people with disabilities. She has represented The Arc on Capitol Hill and in the federal agencies on issues including long term services and supports (including Medicaid), the Supplemental Security Income program, and Social Security disability issues, and has testified numerous times before Congress, including before the House Ways and Means Committee and its Subcommittees, Subcommittees of the House and Senate Appropriations Committees and House Budget Committee, and the Senate Finance Committee. Ms. Ford served three years as Chairperson of the Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities (CCD), a coalition of over 100 national organizations, and currently serves as Co-Chair of the CCD Task Force on Financial Security. Ms. Ford is currently the Vice-Chair of the Advance CLASS Board of Directors and serves on the Board of the National Academy of Social Insurance.
