A diagnosis of anaphylaxis is a challenging one to make. Making a diagnosis quickly becomes important as this condition is severe and can be rapidly fatal without prompt treatment. The pathophysiology, potential etiologies, and current treatment recommendations for anaphylaxis in dogs and cats will be reviewed in this presentation.
